Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 12, 2026
Honour Media LLC ("Honour Media", "we", "our", or "us") operates honour-media.com. This policy explains, in plain terms, what this website collects and what it does not.
The short version. This site runs no analytics, no tracking scripts, and no advertising. It sets no cookies. The only information we receive from you is what you choose to type into the contact form on this site, and we use it only to reply to you. Sending the contact form also passes standard technical data, such as your IP address, to our form provider for spam protection. Details in section 2.
1. Information you give us
The contact form on this site asks for three things: your name (optional), your email address (required, so we can reply), and your message. Nothing is collected until you submit the form. If you email us directly at info@honour-media.com instead, we receive whatever you include in that email.
2. Information we do not collect
We want to be specific rather than vague here:
- No analytics or measurement scripts of any kind.
- No advertising, retargeting, or third-party tracking pixels.
- No cookies, local storage, or device fingerprinting.
- No accounts, so no passwords or profile data.
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, and we never have.
One thing we cannot honestly claim to control: like every website, this site is served by a hosting provider, and standard web-server request data (such as the IP address making the request) is inherently processed in the act of delivering a page to your browser. The same is true when you submit the contact form. It is sent directly from your browser to Formspree, our form provider, which processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type, and the referring page in order to filter spam and keep its service secure. We do not receive any of this as an analytics product, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
3. How we use what you send
We use your name, email address, and message for one purpose: to read your message and reply to it. We do not add you to a marketing list, and we do not use your message to train anything.
Our lawful basis under the GDPR for handling your message is our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact our business, and, where your message concerns a possible working relationship, taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
4. Who processes it along the way
Your message reaches us through a small number of service providers acting on our behalf:
- Formspree (formspree.io, Formspree, Inc., USA) receives the contact form submission, forwards it to us by email, and keeps a copy in our account there until it is deleted. Formspree also processes technical data such as your IP address for spam filtering, and it uses its own sub-processors, which it lists at formspree.io/legal/subprocessors.
- GitHub Pages hosts and serves this website.
- Our email provider stores and delivers the resulting message.
Beyond these, we share personal information only if we are legally required to, for example in response to a valid legal request.
5. Where your information is handled
Honour Media LLC is a limited liability company registered in Wyoming, USA, and the providers listed above are US-based. If you write to us from outside the United States, your message is transferred to and processed in the United States.
Where this transfer is covered by the GDPR or UK GDPR, we rely on the safeguards our providers put in place for international transfers, including the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses. GitHub is additionally certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep it
We keep contact messages for as long as the conversation, or the business relationship it leads to, remains relevant, and then we delete them. If you ask us to delete your message sooner, we will. A copy of each submission also sits with Formspree, our form provider, until it is deleted from our account there.
7. Security
This site is served over HTTPS, and form submissions travel encrypted. We keep the amount of personal information we hold deliberately small, which is the most effective protection we can offer. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we will not claim otherwise.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, to ask us to restrict how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable form, or to object to our use of it. We will never treat you differently for exercising any of these rights. These rights are given by laws such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area and the UK, and the CCPA in California. To exercise any of them, email info@honour-media.com. We will respond as quickly as we can, and in any event within the time limits set by the law that applies to you: one month under the GDPR and UK GDPR, and 45 days under the CCPA. We may extend those periods where the law allows, and we will tell you if we do. Because we hold so little, in most cases the answer is simply your contact message and our reply.
If you are in the EEA or the UK and believe we have handled your information improperly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
9. Children
This site is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
